Are you ready for a change in your diet, exercise and lifestyle?? Let’s start with dedicating just 30 days to the cause! Just imagine, in 30 days your lifestyle can completely change!! Yet a lot of us make excuses before we even get started because we see change as permanent and scary!! I have certainly fallen into this trap, it’s normal human behaviour. I remember job hunting once and I went on a bunch of interviews but didn’t take any of the jobs because they weren’t EXACTLY what I was after and I was scared to even give them a try!! I could have always moved on if I didn’t like it right? Or even given it a 30 day trial perhaps? I never knew how these jobs turned out because I never tried! This is the whole point, give it a try or you’ll never know! Anyway, enough about me…for now.
30 days and you’re on your way to a sexy streamlined body…
It’s only 30 days right??
30 days, 4 weeks, 1 month, 1/12 of a year…whichever way you look at it, it’s not a lot of time! It’s not permanent, it’s only temporary! (mind trick) So if you want your fitness to get back on track then start with giving yourself 30 days and go for it!! What’s the worst that can happen? You’ll have 30 days of good eating and fitness behind you! And then you can go back to your old ways if you really want… The great thing about this is that things will become habitual and I bet at the end of 30 days you won’t want to go back to the old lifestyle. You’ll realize you’re in better shape, have more energy and enjoying your new balanced lifestyle much more!
Here’s what to do!!
Keep a clean diet and by this I mean 3 meals a day with normal portions, plenty of fruits and vegetables and foods that are perishable, meaning fresh produce and not chocked full of preservatives and calories. Try and make water your primary drink for the month and drink lots of it. No need to go overboard on proteins or carbs, just keep a healthy balance of natural foods but really watch your calorie intake (1600 a day is preferable). Focus heavily on cardio workouts 60 minutes a day and mix in some strength training (weights) 2 or 3 times a week also. Take a day off when needed but don’t hit the candy and chips!! Try not to look for daily results, instead trust that you’ll notice a difference at the end of the 30 days. It’ll take a while for your body to adjust to the new diet and exercise routine but I know you’ll be pleased with your new body!
Keep it going, and going, and going…..
Once you reach 30 days then keep going for 60, then 90..and never look back!! Enjoy your new streamlined lifestyle and body. The problem with giving yourself 90 days to begin with is that it’s not measurable as most people won’t stick it out. How many people join a gym and then quit after a month?? But by giving yourself 30 days, it’s both enough time to see changes and not so long that you’ll start dreading your routine!!
