Diet is even more important than exercise!! Have you ever exercised religiously for a couple of months and been really disappointed with the results to the point where you felt like giving up? Or had little or no fat-loss? Well guess what, it’s more than likely your diet was the problem! You see, you need a good clean diet. A healthy diet is the basis on what our bodies need in order to make the changes you want. I’ve always known diet was important, however I used to think it was the amount of exercise you did that made all the difference, now I definitely know it’s the quality of the diet.

I will always keep this site as simple as possible, so when it comes to losing weight we simply need to burn more calories than what we put into our bodies, thus creating a calorie deficit, and I will get into this in more detail in future posts. Of course there are many other variables involved and there are many other sites out there that can get into the science of it all. I’d much prefer to know the ‘how’ when it comes to weight loss, than the ‘why’!! I’m not out to confuse anyone, and who has the time to understand the absolute specifics of the human body…I’m just here to get your body sexy, lean, and toned!!

Now, I’m all about a balanced lifestyle and you’ll hear that over and over on my site, and I certainly indulge in my fair share of pizzas, alcohol, and all the other good stuff! However, lucky for me I’ve done the hard work and it’s more about maintaining my fitness levels. If you’re looking to make a change to your body then you’ll need to sacrifice the bad eating habits for a while!! Yes I know…looking streamlined and toned IS going to take some work!! But if you’re going to exercise and immediately reward yourself afterward with a large bbq chicken pizza then your body and lifestyle is not going to change!! If you’re ready to make changes however, go through your fridge and cupboards and get rid of the unnecessary fats!! That’s the very first thing you need to do. Dips, chips, coke, fatty cheese etc…Yes, usually all the good stuff!!!
